Hey CTH Family, preparing for the return of the Lord requires a heart of constant vigilance, echoing the urgent warnings Jesus gave His followers to “watch and pray” because the hour of His coming remains unknown. He cautioned that, like a thief in the night, the Son of Man will arrive at a time when many are least expecting it, often finding them preoccupied with the temporary distractions of this world.

As we approach the anniversary of September 11th, we are given a sobering reminder of how quickly the world can change in a single moment. That day serves as a historical wake-up call, illustrating that security in this life is fragile and that we cannot afford to slip back into a mundane, “everyday” way of life that ignores eternal realities.

Just as that tragedy stirred a sense of urgency and reflection across the globe, we must maintain that same spiritual alertness, refusing to let the comfort of routine lull us into complacency. Staying prepared means living with holy intentionality, ensuring our lamps are full and our focus remains fixed on Christ, so that we are found ready and faithful whenever He calls.
